Who is responsible

What we collect

• Photos you upload of the people and pets in your portrait, and the portraits we create from them.
• Your email address, which we use to send your private link and to find your portraits again. We do not create a customer account.
• Order and payment details: what you bought, the amount, the time and the payment reference. Card details are handled by the payment provider; we never receive them.
• Technical data: a random browser identifier stored in a cookie, your IP address (used for abuse limits and stored only as a daily one-way hash), and basic request logs.
• If enabled, simple visit statistics on the home and catalog pages, linked to a pseudonymous identifier. We respect “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals.
• Campaign tags (UTM) from a link that brought you here, if the campaign is registered by us.

Why we use it

• To check your photos and create, store and deliver your portraits (performance of our contract with you).
• To take payments, issue access to the files you bought and handle refunds (contract and legal obligations).
• To keep the free daily allowance fair and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest).
• To answer support requests and to keep accounting records required by law.

We do not sell your data and do not use your photos for advertising or to train our own models.

Who receives your data

Only the services we need to run the website, each acting on our instructions or under its own terms:

• Hosting: [hosting provider].
• File storage: Cloudflare (R2), where photos and portraits are kept privately.
• AI image generation: Kie.ai receives your photos and the story reference to create the portraits. The provider may keep temporary copies for a limited time under its own terms.
• Photo checks: Google Cloud Vision may receive a reduced copy of each photo to check that it fits the rules.
• Payments: Stripe.
• Email delivery: [email provider].

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Photos and portraits: until you ask us to delete them. We do not delete them automatically, so you can come back to your purchases.
• Orders and payment records: [N] years, as required for accounting; after a deletion request they no longer contain your email.
• Browser cookie that remembers your email: 14 days.
• Visit statistics: up to 90 days.
• Backups: deleted data disappears from our backups within 14 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, and complain to your data protection authority. To delete your photos and portraits, write to [support email] from the email address you used. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address.

Cookies

• Necessary cookies only: a random browser identifier (14 days), access to a private portrait link, and a short email-verified session for finding your portraits. They are needed for the service and are not used for advertising.
• We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we add them, we will ask for your consent first.

Children

This service is for adults. Do not upload photos of children (anyone under 18). If we learn that such photos were uploaded, we delete them.

Security and changes

Photos and portraits are stored privately and are never published on public links; access is checked on our server for every file. We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date.
